FORMA™ RF SKin Tightening

Forma is a non-invasive subdermal treatment for collagen remodeling and skin tightening. It was developed based on the clinical success of the proprietary A.C.E. (Acquire, Control, Extend) technology.  A.C.E. technology uses RF energy to target deep layers of the skin, with no area being under- or over-treated. This ensures maximum safety and consistent results.  Unlike other lasers and technologies, because Forma has no lights or laser components, this treatment can be done on any skin type.

The subdermal heating allows your skin’s collagen to be increased and remodeled into a more youthful functioning layer. As we age, collagen layers become smashed (think of an older mattress), thus creating wrinkles and lines. The RF energy in the Forma system allows the collagen strands to remold into tighter lines, thus improving lines, wrinkles, and texture while “lifting” the face and neck .

To ensure best results, Forma treatments are recommended to be done as a series, usually with one session per week, totalling approx 6 treatments, however this can vary depending on what is being treated. A maintenance program is suggested after the initial treatments are completed to help maintain your long-term results.

Forma RF treatments are extremely comfortable, feeling only a warm heat and movement of the treatment head.

NOTE: Forma is NOT recommended for those with a history of passive pigmentation conditions such as Melasma. Please refer to Contraindications/Precautions section below for other important contraindications.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

Forma can be used both on the face and body. Commonly treated areas on the face include: forehead, crows feet, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck. On the body, popular treatments consist of the arms (bat wings), abdomen and other areas that may need contraction.

WILL IT HURT?

Forma is an essentially painless procedure with no downtime due to its precise technology and deep-layer targeting of the skin. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post-procedure, which subsides within a few hours.

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?

It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals with mild laxity may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Scheduling should be based on a medical pre-evaluation.
